Designation Search Tips

Help us ensure your gift is used for the exact purpose you intend by selecting one of the 3,000+ funds we maintain or explore college priorities or center and program priorities.

  1. Less is more. Try searching for the fund’s keyword. Instead of Arizona Athletic Band or Pride of Arizona, try Band. Instead of Cancer Research, try Cancer.
  2. Don’t use quotation marks around proper names. Instead of “Crain,” just use Crain.
  3. If you are seeking to support scholarships in a specific college, use the “Areas to Support” link in the header instead of the Giving Search. There are thousands of scholarships at the U of A, and you’ll be able to find your college’s priority funds more easily that way.
  4. Once you find your fund, you can click “Give Now” and open a giving form that’s pre-populated with your designation.
