Over the last decade, the endowment established by Sanford and Phyllis Bolton's estate gift has helped create a model guitar program that attracts some of the best students from around the country.

Sandy loved guitar and wanted to inspire and impact our students far into the future. A large part of his vision for the guitar program included the opportunity for students to learn from world renowned classical guitarists, like David Russell.

The Bolton’s endowment allows two artist-in-residence to visit Arizona each year so students can participate in masterclasses and concerts with them. Watch this video to learn more about the Bolton legacy here at Arizona.
