An anonymous gift is fueling cross-disciplinary collaboration at the Center for University Education Scholarship.
The Center for University Education Scholarship, or CUES, serves as a model for change and improvement in university education by fostering scholarly experiences for faculty and staff, offering faculty fellowships and project-based grants made possible through endowed gifts from an anonymous donor.
One such grant is the Spanning Boundaries Challenge, which promotes cross-disciplinary collaborations. “It’s incredible how CUES support has shaped our journeys and propelled our careers forward at the university, in the communities we’re engaging and in our respective fields,” says Caitlyn Hall, Spanning Boundaries team lead. “This grant has provided us access to ample resources and opportunities to develop groundbreaking research across disciplines and connect deeply with binational communities.
“We never would have been able to reach the number of students that we have without this funding.”
