Power Imagined: Fairy Tales as Survival Strategies
English Professor Kate Bernheimer explores such familiar figures as Little Red Riding Hood and Snow White through the centuries of their survival. In this talk, Bernheimer harnesses the transnational energy across generations to excavate transformational themes housed in beloved fairy tales and place them back in service to the traumatized communities — often women — who created these stories of wonder.

In the 16th annual College of Science Lecture Series, distinguished faculty took the audience on a journey through water — its history and its future. You can watch the virtual lectures on the cosmic origins of water, the essential role of the Colorado River in the arid Southwestern United States today and the next great challenges of water for future generations.

Virtual Kids Create
This is a self-paced version of the monthly kids day hosted at the Poetry Center and includes age-appropriate language arts workshops for children from infancy to 10 years old. March's theme is animals and nature. The activities include read- and sing-a-longs, and exercises for early and middle elementary students.

Good Food Film Series 2021
From seed to plate, and the many stops in between, the Good Food Film Series brings the societal challenges facing the farming and food community across Arizona and food access stories to your preferred viewing screen. These are stories of the often unseen heroes, doing the good work of not only growing and providing healthy, fresh food to our communities but also taking bold environmental and food sovereignty action to create a more sustainable and just local food system.
