Developing knowledge into actionable, community-oriented solutions to environmental change:

At the Arizona Institute for Resilience, we care deeply about the world we live in, from our own backyard in the Sonoran Desert to the farthest reaches of the globe. Our interdisciplinary team specializes in sustainable water management, climate mitigation and adaptation, ecosystem resilience, stewardship of arid lands, efficient energy solutions, and promoting collective wellbeing across cultures. Through our collaborative expertise, we are tackling some of our world’s most critical issues – while also engaging and training University of Arizona students to be the environment and resilience leaders of tomorrow.

Your support will help us make a difference at our institution, in our community, and across our world. Gifts to AIR help make our interdisciplinary research, events, outreach, and teaching possible. Together, we can create a vibrant and sustainable Earth, where communities are resilient to environmental change.
