Sarver Heart Center is working toward a future free of heart disease, vascular disease and stroke.
Our 150 physicians and scientists are using precision medicine to bridge bench to bedside. We provide timely and expert heart care through the latest in new therapies. In addition to saving lives in our hospitals every day, we help prevent heart disease through community education and teach compression-only CPR to thousands throughout Arizona and beyond.
You giving helps Sarver accelerate discovery and train a greater number of future cardiologists as Arizona’s aging population faces a heart disease epidemic. Through research, prevention and improved treatment, we can fulfill the promise of longer and healthier lives for people with a range of cardiovascular conditions and heart disease risk.

“Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the U.S. Thank you for helping Sarver’s faculty members lead nationally while working tirelessly to educate the people of Arizona. Your support makes our heart beat.”
–Director Nancy K. Sweitzer

The Sarver Heart Center was built literally on the foundation set by generous donors who are committed to our mission. Founded in 1986, the center was renamed in 1998 in recognition of generous support from the Sarver family.
