Supporting all undergraduate students with the full cost of attendance – including housing, meals and books. The university's primary pooled scholarship fund is awarded to undergraduate students with financial need, strong academic merit or both, at the discretion of the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.

Benefiting programs and priorities within Student Affairs through the Dean of Students office, the fund may provide support for Adaptive Athletics, Bear Down Week, Basic Needs, Campus Health, Campus Recreation, Counseling & Psych Services, Housing and the Veterans Education & Transition Services Center, among others.

Support for undergraduate students of all academic years and majors from building skills and gaining experience to applying to internships, jobs, and student employment opportunities.

Support currently enrolled students who are in need and at risk of having to withdraw from their classes due to an unexpected, temporary financial hardship. This hardship could be a result of illness, family crisis, natural disaster, or other emergency or crisis situations. Funds are intended to cover temporary costs that may hinder a student from succeeding academically or from meeting their basic needs.

Research at the University of Arizona is creating the next generation of knowledge—enhancing economic development and promoting a rich quality of life in Arizona and beyond. A gift to Arizona Research Labs supports general purposes and discretionary spending of the labs, including all divisions.
