Vantage Point

Annual and Endowment Report 2026

Dear Supporters and Friends,

When something ends, we usually look back with pride at everything we accomplished. In philanthropy, we also look forward to everything that will be possible. It’s an exciting vantage point, and I am so proud to share it with you.

Thanks to the tremendous support of thousands of alumni and friends like you, we surpassed our $3 billion Fuel Wonder campaign goal on June 30.

During this campaign, we doubled the endowment, named three colleges, endowed 478 new scholarships and 110 positions, built or renovated 10 incredible spaces, and accelerated research momentum in space sciences, optics, AI, cancer engineering, medicine, the environment and more.

It’s astonishing to imagine the impact of these gifts even 10 years from now. Tomorrow, the University of Arizona will be the “study abroad” university.

A launchpad for degrees and specialties forecast by donors in a position to spot workforce knowledge gaps.

The birthplace of life-changing treatments for cancer and cardiovascular, autoimmune and age-related diseases. A proving ground for heat resilience, a deeper window into space, a partner in national security.

This year, the university is celebrating 100 years of “Bear Down” by highlighting some of the institution’s greatest accomplishments over that time. The gifts you made during the Fuel Wonder campaign are powering the ideas, ambitions and expertise of the Wildcat community, marking a new chapter in the University of Arizona’s history.

With deepest gratitude, I thank you for being a part of it.

Sincerely,

John-Paul Roczniak

President & CEO, University of Arizona Foundation
