College of Applied Science and Technology

The College of Applied Science and Technology trains students to thrive at the convergence of human and machine teaming.

Founded in 2019 as a new academic college, CAST started out in 1995 as the University of Arizona’s branch campus in Sierra Vista. We hold fast to those beginnings, working alongside Southern Arizona community colleges and the U.S. military to offer financially, geographically accessible degrees. CAST, the university’s fastest-growing college, prepares students for careers in such fields as cyber operations, applied computing and human services, with classes serving both remote and in-person learners

When you give to CAST, you support our efforts to train future-focused, career-ready students set to make their mark on the Fourth Industrial Revolution. You also champion accessibility, enabling the college to continue educating post-traditional students, transfers and learners only able to pursue their studies online. A donation to CAST is a vote of confidence in our continually evolving world.
