Giving Day is an annual, 24-hour fundraising effort to inspire Wildcats in the University of Arizona community to make a gift in support of students and the university.
Many gifts add up to make a large impact. It funds scholarships for students who otherwise would not be able to attend college and supports programs that shape extraordinary futures.
Gifts to any University of Arizona Foundation fund will count for Giving Day. If a fund is not listed, donors can select ‘Other’ and specify their giving area of interest. For additional questions related to Giving Day funds, contact krista.voth@uafoundation.org.

Yes. To give by check, donors can make it payable to the University of Arizona Foundation with Giving Day and what area they want to support in the Memo or include a note and mail it to:

Yes. Gifts made internationally via credit card are accepted.
Challenges are opportunities for gifts to be matched by generous donors. Challenges motivate donors by incentivizing the impact of their support. For example, a matching gift challenge would “double” an individual’s donation to a college or population like Alumni. To view the current list of Challenges, visit givingday.arizona.edu.

Ambassadors are volunteers that sign up to help spread the word about Giving Day on social media. Ambassadors get a unique URL to share messages about Giving Day with their network and track how many gifts they’ve brought in. Leading up to Giving Day, Ambassadors will receive training and a social media toolkit. To sign up as an Ambassador, visit givingday.arizona.edu.
